Hey ya’ll! It’s been such a busy week and I know I’ve been MIA, but I’m back on the blog to share with you our trip to Dallas! Our entire family goes every year, usually in January to visit my aunts, uncle and grandparents. But this year we got to experience it during the Christmas season and let me tell you, it was so magical! Dallas goes all out when it comes to decorating and festivities. The blog for today is going to be a little different since I’m going to share all the fun places we went to if you ever happen to be traveling there during Christmas time (or really at any time!)
1. Gaylord Texan
This place was so magically decorated and had a TON of activities for the holiday season. We went to see ICE, which was a walk through winter wonderland filled with 2 million pounds of ice sculptures! It was so incredible (and COLD lol).
2. NorthPark Center
If you follow my Instastories, I talked about my absolute favorite mall in Dallas. It’s seriously ENORMOUS and has every single store there is to offer. And the entire mall was decorated beyond beautifully. We saw the train display which Vinny was so excited about! You can also visit Santa in his little cottage inside the mall.
3. Forth Worth Stockyards
We ended up taking a little road trip to Forth Worth to check out the western side of Texas. It was so cool to check out the saloons, corrals, and of course the footwear 😉 (I LOVE cowboy boots!). And yes, I totally sat on a longhorn for the first time! I can now check that off my bucket list!
4. Pappadeux Seafood Kitchen
Our all time favorite place to eat at when we come to Dallas! They have the best seafood and so many other things on the menu. And the place is SO big. I highly recommend eating here if you are ever in the Dallas area.
5. Christmas Light Displays
So I don’t actually know where this display was, but it was so so pretty! Dallas has a ton of Christmas light displays to see and we happened to swing past this one after dinner one night. They had an entire display inside their garage!
These were just some of my favorite things we did while in Dallas (besides of course being with family during the most wonderful time of the year <3) Xoxoxo, Brooke
